ENCA is proactively involved in a series of research and advocacy activities, and welcomes new discussions with paediatric rheumatology researchers, healthcare professionals and organisations who would like to involve ENCA and/or ENCA member associations in their work.
ENCA believes that children and young people with paediatric rheumatic disease, as well as their families, must be involved in all aspects of research and innovation, from prioritisation of research through to designing, conducting, analysing and disseminating research. By involving children, young people and families in research from the outset, the outcomes and impact of research is likely to be greater.
Research projects of which ENCA and ENCA member associations are involved with include:
- SHARE (Single Hub and Access point for paediatric Rheumatology in Europe)
- European Research Network on Rare Primary Immunoideficiency, Autoinflammatory and Autoimmune diseases (ERN RITA)
If you are a child, young person, family member or patient association with an idea for research, let us know.
